Open to all college students who are at least 18 years old, the 5-Hour Energy® “101” College Commercial Contest is a call for creative and effective 30-second television spots that drive sales, deliver 5-Hour Energy®’s core messages and strengthen consumer awareness. Commercial entries may be part of class projects or done independently by student groups. Students enter as a group. Individual students can only be part of one group.
The first place entry, as judged by 5-Hour Energy®, its partners and online voters, will receive $5,555, 555 bottles of 5-Hour Energy® and the consideration from Living Essentials, makers of 5-Hour Energy®, to use the commercial concept in an upcoming television advertisement. Additionally, 5-Hour Energy® will contribute $5,555 to the winning group’s college/university along with distributing product samples on campus. The second and third place entry will both receive 555 bottles of 5-Hour Energy®.
